From the moment we sat down, the service was genuinely exceptional. Our server Destinee had this calm, warm way of taking care of people that made you feel comfortable. Every detail was noticed and nothing ever felt rushed or forced, she was just natural, thoughtful, and kind. It’s rare to have a server who’s so good at what they do while also making the experience feel so personal. The attentiveness, the timing, and the always positive attitude with a warm smile made for a special evening. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect and the Bison Burger that she recommended was absolutely delicious. You can tell she truly cares, and that kind of energy is rare and stays with you long after you leave. I’d come back again and again just for that level of care and experience.

I hadn't eaten at this restaurant since it opened. So I welcome the chance for my wife's employment Christmas gathering. I Had the Chimichicken which was delicious vegetables potatoes chicken all very tasty. It was busy so a little hard to get service at times but not bad. The beef on the steak and shrimp skewer appetizer was unfortunately very chewy I checked with my wife and she confirmed this. My wife appreciated her entree the stuffed pork tenderloin said it was very lovely and the price is reasonable for both our meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening with live music later in the evening.

We love the Block! Great downtown location, food, and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and professional, and we've particularly enjoyed popping by for lunch on the patio. The new lunch and dinner menus have a nice mix of options and we haven't yet had anything that we don't like. Was recently at an outdoor event catered by the kitchen and everything was delicious!

Amazing!! Everything was beyond expectations! The whiskey sour I ordered was the best one I’ve had, The Perry Perry chicken was incredible, so much flavour and it did not stop there the vegetables and potatoes accompanying the chicken were so delicious and flavourful! Our waitress was also amazing! We got our food and drinks in a timely matter and she made sure we had everything we needed! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, but the atmosphere totally made our experience that much better! Cherry on top prices are very reasonable! Definitely would go back!!

Good food, bunch of gluten free options for celiac. Separate fryer. Server was very friendly and helpful. Ordered the red pepper soup and the poutine with the fried bocconcini balls. Did find a hair in my drink but server was quick to apologize and made a new one.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the veggie burger here! It's much nicer than your standard black bean or soy crumble burger, with a medley of spices in a fried patty. Great texture, fantastic taste. This appears to go for all the food served, satisfying vegetarians, gluten-free, and children's tastes with no issue. Overall this was a great restaurant! The service was friendly, accommodating, and diligent and the atmosphere was convivial.

This place is a true gem to discover if you're passing through the area with exquisite food, amazing hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. Let's start with the food: surprisingly above what you would expect, especially in the manner and precision it's prepared. They had an in-house made gnocchi, and the manner it was prepared, and adorned with just the right blend of sauce, cheese and mushrooms, it was brilliant. Their burger was cooked to perfection, with the right balance of sweet, savory and umami. The appetizers we nothing short of delicious as well, even the brie was heated to the perfect temperature to be spreadable but not lose its taste and texture to too much heat. All-in-all the chef's subtlety and attention to details , along with a great-tasting menu is a true treat. And then there was the loveliness of the hostess, who was nothing short of amazing with us. Rest assured that you'll be well received, well taken care of. The ambiance is also cosy and comfortable. I highly recommend you pass by this lovely place if you're in the area and you want to be treated to a generous meal, courteous and lovely service and an overall wonderful experience.
